Decorating the Office For Christmas

Here we are.... Bonnie, my good friend and co-worker and I, at our office desks... After 2 1/2 days of decorating.... we're finally done.... Our decorations are aren't all that fancy but they're all we have to work with.......

Our little ceramic tree has been around the office for many years now.... It was brought in by a young man, Dan D., who worked in our office during his last year or two of high school... His mom made it ..... Not sure where we got the little red stockings... but don't you think they look cute on the bulletin board....




The cards around the doorway are from some of our clients as well as other agencies in the county that we have worked with throughout the year... The doorway is usually over flowing by the time Christmas gets here..... We finally got our cards signed, and in their envelopes to be mailed.... It's so nice this time of year to get mail that contains friendly greetings as well as send out of few greetings of our own....


We're slowly updating our decorations.... like our little artificial tree.... Bonnie and I found it at the Family Dollar Store last year along with all the ornaments on it.... We tried to stick with the red, white, and blue theme of the office..... What a fun time we had shopping....all went well except for the little scene Bonnie caused worrying about the cost of everything....but we've moved past that haven't we Bonnie..... Unfortunately no lights for the tree yet.... there's a promise out there that we have some coming.... maybe we'll get them this year even... We even have a promise of an angel for our tree top.... If we get them... I'll try to include photos in my next post.... We plan to have our office party on December 21st.... so will be posting again shortly thereafter....
