Office Christmas Party 2007

December 21, 2006.... Our annual Office Party... Here's our little Christmas tree, all our gifts to each other neatly placed beneath the tree just waiting for us to tear into them..... We try to stay with the red, white, and blue theme of the office in decorating the tree.... We managed to hold off opening the gifts until around 11 o'clock, then we could hold back no more.... Before opening our present.... we first had to set up our little buffet table, in the inner office, with all the food we brought in from home..... Bonnie used her desk as a preparation table for setting up her veggie tray...
Here's our spread of food... a little of this and that and more where that came from.....
Bonnie's daughter, Susan, stopped by with a plate of homemade cookies she baked herself.... They were delicious Susan.... especially loved your chocolate chip cookies....

We also got a little visit from Steve Benion, Director of OFA... showing off his Christmas tie!!!
Our good buddy, Mark, stopped by and before he had to run off to take care of business in the building, we talked him into opening his present.... Looks like he was having a little trouble in getting it opened, had to pull out his handy little cutting knife......

Bonnie and I pitched in together and got him a Redskins banner and a Redskins glass..... If it says, REDSKINS on it.... he's happy.... With the way they're playing this year, don't think I'd be that happy if I were you, Mark!!!

I got this lovely frame from Bonnie...... She also gave me a "Welcome to Our Home" sign, and a beautiful blue & while vase.......

Bonnie holding up the humming bird broach from me.... I also gave her a cute Christmas stocking, and a homemade framed bible verse to hang on her wall.....

Our good friend, Vicki, stopped in to say "HI".... She brought in this delicious homemade pistatio lush.... Boy was that ever good!!!! Thanks, "V"...

Bonnie got Pete this really neat wall clock.... with large letters to make it easier for him to see the numbers..... You're still going to have to start using your glasses full time one of these days, Pete!!

I gave him this handy little flashlight... It's an L.E.D. light, so suppose to be very bright.... It's what he wanted, although I couldn't figure out why..... He said it would be real handy when he's hunting..... Here he is turning it on to make sure it's bright enough.... He even had the lights off in his office checking to see how bright it was....

Pete's Mom stopped in to party with us.... It's always fun to get a visit from her.....
What a lovely lady....
Shortly after she arrived, Pete's Dad finally showed up.... He had an earlier party to attend with all his buddies...... Pete's wife, Kim, also came, but neither one of them would give me a good enough pose I would dare try posting.... so no picture of Kim this year.... You can thank me later, Kim...
All in all... it was a fun filled day.... Lots of good food, good stories about Christmases past, and just plan good time spent with good friends and family.......
MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE..... AND A VERY HAPPY & HEALTHY NEW YEAR!!!!
