Visit with old friends.... Fred & Beth

After nearly 7 years, we got a visit from some old and very dear friends, Fred & Beth D. ..... Fred who is a Medic with the U.S. Army, and his wife, Beth, have traveled to many interesting places since they moved away (thanks to Uncle Sam)... They've spent a great deal of their time in Germany, but the last 3 years have lived in Washington State. They will soon be leaving for another tour in Germany (once again). After this morning's church service, we met at our favorite breakfast place (Cracker Barrel) ...... It was very interesting to listen to some of their stories of the different places and people they've met in their travels..... Here's Fred and Beth posing in front of Cracker Barrel's huge fire place.... Fred took this one of us three girls..... Me, Beth, & Debbie.... A lovely Rose between two old thorns.... (sorry Debbie)....
Debbie's husband, Vaughn, was home sick... so Fred gave him a call here to see how he was doing....
I took this one of Beth & Debbie.....

Fred wanted to get a picture of all of us sitting in the rocking chairs.... Actually, I'm in the photo he took with his camera, and he's in this one, taken with my camera.....
Fred & Beth, we really enjoyed seeing both of you again after all these years... Hope all goes well in Germany.... but hope that it won't be so long before your next visit ..... And Fred... Look forward to getting those pictures we talked about..... I'm sure you'll get some great ones while traveling about in Europe.....

We are so glad you posted your recent visit with Fred & Beth on your site. We are some of the lucky ones who enjoyed their company for the last 3 years in the Tacoma Washington area. They were a blessing to be with and both had a positive influence on our kids. We did mission trips, camping trips, snowshoe trips, church events, movie nights, home groups, and just plain hung out and laughed. With the Duncans in between you and us, I'm sure we could all be friends too! Glad to hear you were able to bless them on their way to Germany! Thanks again ...
