Visiting Historic Castle

Klaus' and Olivia's new friend, Robert, lent us his season pass so we could go and visit this unique little castle situated in a State Park close by where they live... It only has one floor, but as we toured throughout it, and although now vacant of any furniture, it was plain to see they didn't live a simple life during it's occupancy.... Many, many rooms throughout, with a beautiful courtyard that separated the main castle from the servant's quarters....

The Russell Family ....

Of course had to get a picture of Nana with her boys too....

I got Jasonn and Kyle to pose for me beneath this little Palm Tree.....

Olivia took this picture of Klaus and I in front of this entrance way, leading to a long hall with many other doorways branching off from it....

Olivia posing in front of this beautiful ivy lined wall in the middle of the courtyard....

Jasonn & Kyle having fun exploring......

I even found a nice palm tree to pose with..... It's amazing how well you can look with the right scenery about you.....

Klaus resting on a window sill inside one of the many rooms we explored.....

Main courtyard dividing the main castle from the servant's quarters.....

On our way out I spotted this lovely little flower climbing the stone wall that surrounded the castle......

What a beautiful evening we had .... The sky was filled with shades of pinks and soft blues.... Here I couldn't resist snapping a picture of the sky with the palm trees shadowing it in the foreground......

Now off to the ajoining beach where we hope to get some good pictures with the beach and ocean as our background.....
